Learning Coding Remotely: Impacting Lives

In early 2025, girls from some of the most remote areas of Bangladesh gained an unprecedented opportunity to learn coding through the ‘Coding for Kids’ program. This initiative, funded by the Bangladeshi NGO Friendship and supported technically by Dreamers Academy, is equipping young learners with digital skills that could change their futures. Coding Education – Empowering and Impacting Underprivileged Kids

Coding education is an empowering initiative in Bangladesh that is making a significant impact, particularly for underprivileged kids. Coding is not a new concept—many organizations worldwide discuss and work on it. However, very few focus on coding for marginalized communities. One of Dreamers Academy’s ( https://dreamersacademy.com.bd ) core missions is to support marginalized communities. I am involved in this initiative with great interest because I recognize the gap—very few organizations address this need despite its huge demand. The key is to create opportunities, and that is exactly what I am striving to do.
